# Currency List
freecurrencyapi supports these 33 currencies. Pass any of the codes as base_currency or in the
comma-separated currencies parameter of the latest (opens new window) and
historical (opens new window) endpoints, for example
currencies=EUR,GBP,JPY. An unknown code returns a 422 validation error.
The same list is available from the currencies endpoint (opens new window),
which also returns each currency's symbol, plural name and decimal digits, or an HTML table with
as_html=1. The codes are ISO 4217 codes. The rates of all of them are end-of-day rates, updated once a day.
